Sky Train View
We are hibernating inside our imaginations. It used to be that at this time of year, as we began to bundle up, we would imagine seeing ungloved hands again, seeing outdoor hands after a cocooned winter. Now we are imagining unmasked faces after a winter that has already gone on too long. We are imagining when using public transport will not require us to do air quality risk assessment. I am imagining how good the food that my mother cooks will taste. I am imagining my smile.
