Bio

I am computer nerd for a living and a photographer for fun. On the internets I pretend to be a famous cat and two subway stations.

Photography was a serious hobby for me throughout my teens and twenties until life intruded, I returned to photography 20 years later.

I do not work in any one style but I avoid staged or created works in favour of a more photo-journalistic style. In particular there are some themes I am developing from within my current approach of photographing anything that stands still (or doesn't):

Wildlife, in particular, man and nature in interplay such as wild animals in urban settings.

Artists and their works, primarily attempting to permanently instantiate the visual aspects of unrepeatable conceptual performance works and participatory art "happenings".

The unique culture of the County Fair

I have exhibited my work in the "Picture the Cure" group show in Toronto in 2007. Picture the Cure is a fundraising event for Cancer research and treatment.

One of my photos was selected to appear in the "Best of Toronto: Your City Vision" feature in Toronto's Now Magazine on November 1, 2007
