Bio

Since some ridiculous societal notion made me believe I couldn't hack it as a photographer or a 19th century explorer, I became a geologist, my close - but third-place - aspiration.

I shoot with a Nikon D80, a gift from my fabulous husband, sometimes through the viewfinder of my grandparents' Kodak Duaflex III. Lenswise, I only shoot with a Nikkor 105 mm macro, and a 28-200 (I think??)...not because I've done my research and chosen these particular products, but because that's what came with my camera, and the camera store was out of the cheaper macros. I can't tell you what half the functions on my camera do, but I love to try and capture what I see in the world through one near-sighted eye and a little glass-and-mirror mechanics.

I dearly love to laugh. Intentional bad grammar makes me giggle, and so do bad puns.
