Christine P

Bio

I am a biologist, a naturalist, a teacher, a craftswoman, a wife, and a mom of several furry-children. These are the things that my photography shows.

I shoot with a slightly broken Cannon S1IS. I hate it sometimes, but mostly it serves. I shoot my daily life, what I see, what I happen upon. To everyone else this means I shoot a gluttony of dogs at the dog park, dogs at agility, and dogs at home. They are my best friends and I find them beautiful.

For me, shooting what I live is the important thing. I love fast and flowing action shots. And I love candids. Which is another reason there are few people in my stream. Nobody I know is willing to forget that my camera is there.

Occasionally, I get a shot that I think is wonderful and on par with some of the photographers I admire. I hope that someday I will have most of my shots be that way.
