This was done for a project called Beam Me Up Utata, in which you light your subject with only a single, artificial beam. Here I'm using a large Coleman camping flashlight. I changed the white balance settings on the camera to avoid bright white glare on the pumpkin. I also consider this a study in negative space, something I have been made recently aware of. Also...it's seasonal. :)
