2007 - Day 97 - Paternoster II

Jonathan Watts

Well football didn't go well today. 4th placed Arsenal with little left to fight for this season, lost by one goal to nil to London rivals and almost relegated West Ham.

With the trains home in a state of chaos and a little black cloud of defeat over my head I decided an evening walk was in order. So via Highbury Fields, Upper street, the Angel and Smithfield Market I ended up in Paternoster Square.

Wren's most famous creation was looking particularly beautiful with the evening light shining on the fa├žade as the Sun set at the other end of Fleet street.

Walking helps order thoughts and clear the mind, so we lost and I missed Dr Who, there is always next season.

Happy Easter.
