Time Out With Iain

Zigs1

A few years ago, I decided it was high time I switched off that bloody TV set of mine, stopped staring at the screen like the idiot I was, and started to do what I actually like doing a lot more. Since then, I've been reading whenever I can, even when I feel I'm actually too tired for the exercise.

Now, it's only yesterday that the latest edition of one of my favourite reference books, The Time Out Film Guide, arrived. After opening the packet, it so happened that I saw the book by the British writer Iain Sinclair (which I had just finished reading) lying right next to the guide on the table, and I started experimenting and pushing them around a bit and taking snaps of them. What you see here is one of the resulting pics, and I must say I'm quite pleased with the way Penelope Cruz looks a little wistfully towards some unseen future.
