farewell old friend

this is goodbye to my Levi jacket; it has been keeping me warm and accompanying me on my travels for at least 15 years, and it was already second-hand when I bought it. I lost it going through the baggage check at Cairo Airport, being hot and flustered gathering all the bits and pieces you have to take out of your pockets to pass through the scanner - an hour later I was sitting in the departure lounge and a young lad brought it to me. How he knew it was mine and where to find me, I will never know.
It's now a bit threadbare; time for it to go. Maybe I will keep the buttons.
