Aw hell, it's Valentine's Day again. Ugh.

I'm generally not a huge fan of this day, at least, not in recent years. There's almost always something happening to ruin my mood. A couple of years ago, my ex moved back to Taiwan the week before Valentine's Day. The year before that, we had a huge arguement on Valentine's Day that carried over for a few days after. The year before that, I broke up with my previous girlfriend.

Some years aren't too bad though. Last year, I did dinner and movies with some buddies who were in similar anti-Valentine's day moods. A few years ago, when I was still living in Eugene, I went to a big party, had a few drinks, then went dancing with 6 very attractive women. That was a fun night. ;)

This year I'm planning on having a relatively uneventful and relaxing day. Maybe I'll call up some friends and get some food. Maybe I'll just chill at home with some beers and watch Lost. Forecast calls for rain tonight, so I'm definitely not going out and doing night photography.

So, in honor of Valentine's Day, this one goes out all the bitter, angry, and generally pissed off singles out there on this most unholy of holidays. I feel your pain. Go drown your sorrows in some beer, wine, or whatever your poison is.
