Undaunted, we now present to you as this month's Eliot Porter. In Greg's original Salon, he discussed Porter's nature photography, which was groundbreaking at the time. He pioneered the use of color film for outdoor images, and demonstrated that one needn't visit Yosemite and/or use BW film to make lovely and legitimate photos outdoors. All one needs is one's camera of choice, some time outdoors, and the willingness to settle down and pay quiet attention.
