United Colors of Cauliflower

At the Farmers' Market out behind Borough Hall, the routine fall crop is punctuated by the occasional oddity. I had never seen Cheddar Cauliflower before; it's a legit type of heirloom vegetable, apparently, as is the Purple Cauliflower you can see in the background.

I'm still adjusting to the feel and color palette of my new monitor. This should be darker, shouldn't it? Are the colors looking a little muted or on the washed-out side to you?
