This transmission line passed through our neighbors farm when I was a child (about 20 km further north form where this was taken). The pylons and lines have always been a fascination to me and while some of the mystery has now been resolved, I still hold a quiet appreciation for the mechanical engineering involved in the design, and a healthy respect for the power they transport.
