Billy Fury had a big hit with Jealousy in 1961 when I was 13 and he was my first teenage crush. Then the Beatles came along. I found the CD at a supermarket checkout in the early 1990s and was sad to read in the sleeve notes that he had died in 1983. I just listened again; there is something of the Buddy Holly sound in the early songs, but my favourites are later ones, When will you say I love you, and Once upon a dream.
