Here is the recipe
I had enough batter to make some smaller muffin-size cakes; this is one here (the big one is reserved for a birthday). I did not use Nigella's recipe for the cream; this is mascarpone diluted with evaporated milk. The fruit is just for the ip requirements/decoration. I ate it sprinkled with a tiny bit of Guérande salt and piment d'Espelette. If I bake it again I'll put a pinch of salt in the batter, and I'll obey instructions and line the tin. The cake stuck to the bottom.
