Sunset Ember

Ember has had to put up with a lot out of me when it comes to photography. He bolted from the first session I ever did with him, back before he lost his leg. These days he doesn't even react when I pull out a camera. But he does take it as a sign that he might need to use claws to get my attention. That was the case this evening. (Yes, I'm coming to feed you! Just a minute!)

I admit I cheated a little with this. I did make this photo at sunset, but this side of my house faces south, not west. This was done with a strobe and a CTO gel.
