My January

barbara ender

for utata ip 228 which requires:
1 - a face
2 - your usual coffee/tea cup
3 - double exposure

This is a summary of January, a) what I read, b) what I listened to, c) what I bought and d) what I did.

a) bottom to top: Le Buffon de Benjamin Rabier, spine missing (to be rebound); Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans, Le Chameau dans la Neige (stories told by inhabitants of Switzerland who migrated from elsewhere); L'Alphabet des Anges by Xochitl Borel; Anne Enright, The Green Road; Peggy Guggenheim's autobiography; Stella Gibbons Cold Comfort Farm in French (loses a lot in translation); AMcS, The handsome man's deluxe café; Romain Puertolas, Le voyage du Fakir qui était resté coincé dans une armoire IKEA.
b) box of 5 CDs of Maria Callas arias and duets with her face for the ip element
c) a chintzy cup and saucer, now my favourite for tea (ip element); also just a glimpse top right corner of a small painted cupboard. In the cup, Yogi tea Joie de Vivre, ayurvedic infusion with orange peel, basil and chili
d) I did a lot of knitting (hats and scarves), and my granddaughter helped me colouring in the poster which is in the background.
Second exposure is a page from the (undated) Rabier book, very elegant typeface.
