Dress for brunch (Iron Photographer practice)

I was looking for one of my vintage shirts to use as a background and found this instead. For some reason this arrangement came to mind.

The goal for Utata's Iron Photographer challenge 229 is to employ a dish and knives in a "Picassoesque" composition. This is, perhaps, a bit too "Magritte-y".

Thoughts on design
One goal was to make the photo appear flat by eliminating shadows. Images like this on the Farm Journal Country Cookbook seem "Picassofied" in that they have no depth (space is compressed, ambiguous), perspective is not realistic, are obvious collages, and even the faded color seems abstracted from reality. Next design step: add more incongruous perspectives.
