Red. Green. Opposite?
Color wheel conspiracy
Now we know the facts

1 - a flower (try to stop them!)
2 - a straight line (they are there)
3 - complementary colors (probably)

I used the RBY color wheel because that's what I grew up with that that's what They want you to use.

But modern artists know the real deal: RGB because those are what human color vision cones detect.

Did you know that our eyes detect twice as much green as red and blue? It's true! Our vision peaks out right around greenish-yellow.

Did you also know that our reception system's cones aren't called "RGB" but short (S), medium (M) and long (L) wave?

I have a color book on my shelf, and I pull it out whenever I want to be inspired.

Also, I know I've said this before, but I love my Fuji 16mm wide-macro lens. It's wide, because it's 16mm, but they've designed it so I can get 0.49' (15cm) from image sensor to subject. So close! I know it's not a "1:1" macro like everyone's used to, but that's the best part, because you can let in so much of the surrounding area, yet get that very limited depth of field at f/1.4. Something you can't really do with other wide angle lenses. (It really is my favorite!)
