Ben Long's new book just came out
Very excited!

1. The book you purchased most recently. (Too meta?)
2. A leaf, or more than one, but not a whole tree-full. (Thank goodness I hate raking leaves!)
3. 4x5 (aka 8x10) aspect ratio (Done.)

I got this yesterday but had a lot of bird photos to process. But I'm super excited to dig into this fantastic, brand-new edition of Complete Digital Photography by Ben Long.

The best part about this book is that no matter how many times I've come back to it over the years (I've been a photographer for 35), I learn something new. I mean, many somethings new. And even if I don't "learn" something brand-new, I see the information with new eyes, which is fantastic.

Is it crazy that I put this up there with George Orwell's 1984 and Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451?

Maybe.

But if you like photography, and you want to improve, you should read this book. The library where I volunteer always has a copy - usually the previous edition, but it's fine. There are ways to get this book.

(And you should.)
