IP289: Looking under the hood

I had hoped to line up the road stripes like laser beams from the eyes of a (a superhero (or villain) but the blind shooting method, transient clouds, and middle-of-the-road location were not conducive to this goal.

Utata's Iron Photographer Challenge 289 requests:

1. Shot from underneath something, my raincoat's hood (see note)
2. A repeated pattern, a manhole cover
3. Intense color, added after the fact

Color enhanced by partial palette replacement (Topaz Restyle, palette from an admired cross-processed image of flowers)
