1. A Tub (E. C Tubb)
2. A Warming Beverage (cuppa tea)
3. A large area of negative space

I was looking for a different book, with a decidedly SF cover, but found one with a drawing of hippies on the cover. I also discovered that most of my original idea was lousy.
