shadows from the past

barbara ender

for utata ip 344, which requires:
1) a leaf
2) 2 or 3 stones
3) close up

The skeleton bodhi leaf usually stuck to the side of one of my bookshelves.
The large white marbly rock with silvery inclusions, in the background, came from the river at Glendalough which had flat round shaly pebbles at the bottom that shone like silver beneath the water (I did have some but they have gone walkabout). It has lived with me since the late 1960s.
I don't know where the brown and black striped pebble came from, it wanders around the kitchen from cupboard to draining board where I found it this morning.

Lighting improvised by waving around the torch on my phone.
