I am so very sorry!

My kitchen got so dark that I decided to prune the massive clematis montana that was obscuring the window. I was horrified to dislodge this beautiful birds nest! Fortunately no eggs or chicks, but still a crime. It is so beautifully and intricately constructed, it must have taken weeks to make. I have stopped pruning, but I am going to have to stop gardening. Last time I decided to tidy up. I disturbed some baby frogs under a heap of leaves! How do other gardeners manage?

Anyway, I thought I would photograph it for IP 49.
