Prince Albert in a Can

When I was a kid, one of the great delights of my friends and me was to call up druggists and tobacconists and ask, "Do you have Prince Albert in a can?" Upon receiving an affirmative answer, we would say, "Well, don't you think you ought to let him out?" That seemed like the height of hilarity back then, seconded only by "Is your refrigerator running?""Well, don't you think you ought to catch it?" I'm older and, I like to think, smarter, but when I came across a can of Prince Albert at a flea market several years back, I just had to have it. I promptly stuck it in my junk drawer because it was such a clear reminder of my youth.
