005/365 - Bad b&w

Andy Sedik

This is my first attempt at taking on a Utata Iron Photographer challenge. While I did get the elements required (curved wood, something white and made to appear old), I completely botched the developing of the film. This was shot with a Druopta Corina, a Czech toy camera, using Fomapan 400 and developed in Fomadon. The negative is way too thin and I was only able to bring up a bit of detail by drastically bumping up the levels. I did shoot this scene with the Flexaret that is sitting on the table, but need to take the film in for developing.

I love shooting medium format, I just don't love trying to load the stuff onto a film reel.
