An interesting thing about a Möbius strip is that it has only one surface. If an ant were to walk around the strip it would come back to the point where it started.

For kids it is an interesting experiment to ask them to draw a a line along the centre of the strip then take a pair of scissors and cut along the line that they have drawn.

Before they start cutting ask them how many circles will they get. Most people will say you will get two paper circles, so it always comes as a surprise when they only get one
