This is not what I had in mind, but somehow it ended up working for me anyway. I was thinking about a quotation to use for the latest Iron Photographer, and then walked past this one from Andy Warhol, which is printed on a postcard that I have hanging up. I bought the postcard in a museum, Pinakothek Der Moderne in Munich. I was very hungover, and I'd spent the night before doing some very stupid things (nothing I could've gotten arrested for, though the cops did show up, now that I think of it). Anyway, as I walked past this postcard I have hanging up, I thought about it and it's my philosophy too (perhaps also the philosophy of Scarlett O'Hara). No matter what happened, how dumb you were, if the cops showed up, if you had to call your boss because you just woke up two hours late for work hungover and still wearing whatever you had on the night before*, every day's a new day.
*I don't do that. Anymore.
