I was so much older then

Jeremy Sloan

when I was young.

A thought about today: The world is full of beauty that we often do not see, simply because it is in front of us every day. A wisp of hair fallen from behind a lover's ear, the iridescence of a pigeon's feathers, the chipped pink nail polish on a child's pudgy little toes, or the refracted light from a pane of glass -- these are as wondrous as anything we might travel half the world to find. But somehow we see these things so much that we no longer see them.
