Into The Kitchen

Douglas Mo

One of the great things about Chinese noodle and barbeque houses is that the kitchens are often open and you can peer right into them. While wandering around Toronto's Chinatown, I decided I wanted to capture one of the chefs at work. Standing out on the street, I made eye contact with the chef and motioned with my camera. He gave me a quick nod and went right back to the soup base.

I've eaten at this restaurant before. Good all-around noodle dishes and Chinese barbeque. I recommend their Singapore noodles, or just a classic plate of barbeque pork and soya chicken on rice.

I'm not being paid to advertise for the restaurant, I swear!
