late night, candle light

Diptych of Anneli making little wax candles (or, really, butter candles). You stick a couple of chunks of butter on the stove to melt, while you roll up cotton into thin wicks that you stick into those little metal candle holders. Then you pour the butter over the wick and it runs down and settles.

All done by the light of candles, in a ger in the middle of nowhere in Mongolia.
