My daughter told me that my pictures were looking like moments from a spy movie. People were meeting outdoors, faces covered, carefully distanced, facing awkwardly away from one another. The world was looking like an edgy arthouse film. It was a time when we learned to mask our fears and smile with our eyes. Angels standing over us.
