Finding Findus

Rachel Irving

I know the outsides of the city where I moved a year ago. Spring storms shook the poplar trees like frenzied rain-sticks. I catalogued the acrobatic arts of graffiti taggers; Olaf, Oleg, Findus, Zpair and Moes; Findus and I are both drawn to bridges. It was comforting finding familiar Findus. I learned the locations of the closed attractions. Soon my second vaccination will kick in, and I might pay admission and finally venture inside.
