This is my home... part of the Utata Weekend project for Oct 19/07
There are several layers to this photo describing why this represents my home.
This is my step-daughter, a 15-year old bundle of chaotic, unpredictable energy. Almost 6 years ago her mom and I met and the rest, as they say, is history. It's hard to describe how they've both changed my life for the better over the last 70 months.

This photo was her idea. I don't take many pictures of her because she usually doesn't like posing for photos. But when she does pose the results can be great.

This is also a photo I couldn't have taken three days ago. Well, I could have taken it but it would have been blown out by the on-camera flash. I used my new birthday present, a 28 mm f/1.8 prime lens that I got precisely for this type of photography. I'm so happy I could plotz.
