I don't know, exactly, what is about this that makes it "my home" -- but I know that it is. Perhaps it is something in the interplay of light and shadow, in the mediation of indoors and out, but for the last two years during which I have been slowing compiling pieces of my home in order to see just when they congeal into something other than pieces, it could always have been just this.
