Boat Launch Road - Falmouth

My brother and I have an in-joke, oft repeated and always laughed at:

"It's uphill. Both ways."

Doesn't matter where you're referring to, or where you're starting from. Nova Scotia is so hilly that anywhere you go is uphill ... both ways.

A few hundred feet from where I live, this is the Falmouth boat launch which provides access to the Piziquid lake on the Windsor/Falmouth line.

I walked there this morning - it's lush dyke-land, full of wild flowers and snails (all over the ground like little slimy jewels) and almost lime-green grass. And yes, it was uphill.

Both ways.

Best larger, it's a weird middle focus jobbie.
