Since April 9 I have had five surgeries on my right leg. It started with a simple knee replacement to correct the effects of my youthful basketball addiction. The surgery became infected and then reinfected and I had to have my knee removed for 3 months. During that period of time I fell and broke my femur, near the hip. I got a new knee on September 27 and am starting to work my way out of it. I go back to work next Monday.

Utata and Flickr and my little point and shoot camera have helped keep me sane during this ordeal. I thank all of you.
