The extra man

This is a project contribution for Utata, one of my favourite groups. The idea is to take a picture to fit a given title. For this particular project, the title is "The Extra Man", interpret as you wish. As Sheila so perceptively says, the term "extra" has come to mean unnecessary and so is a little tinged with sadness. I thought this greyish image of a slightly blurry man with his back turned to the photographer was a good fit for this title.
