Art Matters

Ryan

Yesterday I made a trip to Kensington Market to pick up some bagels, While I was there I decided to take a shot or two for the Utata's weekend project "Public Art".

While in a side alley I met 2 young woman taking portraits of each other. I overheard one good naturally complaining that she didn't have enough good ones of herself. I jokingly said that shouldn't be the case and offered to give them a short lesson. After five minutes I there shots were much better and there enthusiasm to take better shots had increased by leaps and bounds.

I think it's not that I am such a great teacher but that there are so many people that want and could take better pictures, all they need is a little help.

BTW the above picture is a composite of a fence mural and the single demonstration shot I took during the lesson.
