Road Less Traveled

It's actually traveled a lot more than the name might imply. This is the summit road on Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawai`i.

This picture was taken with a camera suspended from a kite string. The camera was driven using an automatic rig controller, AuRiCo, since radio transmitters would seriously mess up the radio telescopes also located at the summit. (I do play nice with the other kids.)
