Noon Sky Girl

Was working on photos of the sky and had photographed images during dramatic foggy and cloudy days. Wanted to take more sky photos, but I found myself thinking, "There's nothing interesting to photograph now. It's just a clear blue sky ... beautiful color, but ... " Then I realized the color was what was most notable about the sky that day, so I photographed it: a minimalist rectangle of deep blue noonday sky. Don't know why it occurred to me to superimpose it over a portrait of my daughter.
