Overheard from two young, snazzily-dressed Bay Street types at the Black Star Collection CONTACT exhibition at Brookfield Place:


"The Funeral Of Malcolm X. Malcolm X...Malcolm X...he was a gangster, right?"

"I think he had something to do with Black Power..."

"Troublemaker, then..."

"That's why the cops are spraying these guys in these pictures."

"He probably put 'em up to it..."



I just stood slackjawed. And took a hipshot.
