One thing I love about Utata projects is that they make me watchful. We will have a two-week project such as this one, Sur la Table, and it will percolate in the back of my mind. When I go to pick up a cheap plastic water pitcher to fill my humidifier, I see the reflected light and all the shapes and I actually notice it. "Ha!" I think, "a perfect subject for Utata." Then I bustle around for a happy few minutes taking picture after picture.
