Do not attempt to adjust your sets. John Paris in the Yankee Doodle Dandy TA/FC, running on Nitromethane on this occasion, got the car a bit sideways at about 180MPH and got airborne. This pic is just before the car came crashing down to earth and started rolling down the track destroying the car. Lucky for the driver he escaped with only a broken wrist and ankle. Racing action occured at Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ.
