More from this week's glorious morning walk in the fog on the civil war battlefield.

This is the straight-up prettiest landscape image I have taken in years. I generally avoid the "easy" postcard image in favor of something more atmospheric and moody, but this one just couldn't be overlooked. Every few minutes as the morning progressed, the color of the light through the fog would change as the sun shifted. This moment just happened to beautifully echo the colors of the flowers in the field.
