I was coming out of the old béguinage known as "Holy Corner" - for you english or american tourists - and was near the Saint Elisabeth church on the laundry meadow when my eye fell on this young couple lying on a big flat stony surface - but their position...Man,it was unbelievable, they where, in fact, "statuesque".They where lying in each others arms, their bodies twisted round each other like some strange kind of human contraption.Not far from them was a real statue.This much coincidence could not go unnoticed.They didn't bother me coming real,real close and photographing them.No, they just went on being a statue.
It was a discovery of sorts for me.An eye opener.Writing about the expierience still gives me the shivers !
