Coming through the narrow streets of the old historic city quarter known as "Patershol", A elderly man was smoking a fag, hanging out the window.Within a second I had him on camera.He kinda turned away first saying (in a juicy ghent dialect, a language I adore) no, no, not me.His wife turned up in the window.Now, while photographing I was talking to them, at the same time so I kinda kept their attention going.The wife really wanted her picture taken.I explained to them who I was, why I was taking the photos, what I did and that led to a conversation and some great, amazing photos.I'm kinda proud of the photos I took of this elderly couple.My guess is they both resided in some service flats for the elderly.I would like to express my gratitude to them both and I plan to visit them again on the next sunny, bright day.
