The Woman by the canal.

I was walking alongside the "Leuvense Vaart" canal ,(Leuven is a city in the flemish part of belgium hence the name "Leuvense Vaart" means "canal from Leuven" in Flemish/Dutch ) in the direction of the subburb "Battel" , in the city of Malines (Mechelen) Belgium, and noticed this old, apparently Islamic, woman sitting on one of the benches alongside the canal.I felt a great need and urge to photograph her especially because of the whole scene, the light, the woman's composure....I carefully approached her and began to talk to her, she spoke a little Flemish/Dutch and managed to tell me why she was resting there. She had been suffering from a pneumonic or a heart condition and was feeling short of breath. She complained that she had great difficulty of breathing normally and hence found it hard to walk around.
