Mayor of the Dam*, man of the moment

*the locals called this man :"Mayor of the Dam", "Dam" being a small narrow street or neighbourhood in the town of Sint-Amands (Saint-Amand) Belgium.He told me that himself.

He came riding by, cigare in his mouth and magazine under the arm, in this very narrow alley where I was taking pictures of the graffiti and the previous shoe factory.I kinda halted him on his folding bike, said hello, introduced myself...we talked for a brief moment and I fairly quickly asked if he'd like to pose for me.The first thing he said was : " Yeah, but not besides the word porno !" He smiled, I winked.I replied : " You clever devil, you know what i'm up to ? " We agreed he would stand before the word P***O, so that it would be obscured.
