sherry

Liz West

A second Thursday walk took place at a morning fox hunt. No fox is involved, since this is a drag hunt. A bag that is impregnated with animal scent is dragged along a course. The course sets up a trail across fields and through woods, which the foxhounds then follow. The riders then follow the hounds. Basically, it seems like a fun ride wearing great clothes and following cherished traditions. Members of my photography club were invited to come and take pictures of the event, which involved lots of tramping about. I even got to pour sherry for the hunters to enjoy afterwards.
