The Flight of the condor

axel stevens

View On Black - Large

I walked passed the fence.A fence that had barbed wire on top of it.I had noticed the bird sitting quitly on one of the fence posts to late. When I turned my head, the bird, a magpie, just sat there.I was just a few feet away.It didn't fly away. That's when I instinctively brought my camera to my eye and started adjusting my exposure, my diaframe.I wanted the bird to be as sharp as possible. That's when it happened. The magpie jumped.I pressed the shutter and hoped that something would be on it.
